Workshops

Minesweeper Collective provides three different public workshops. 

1. BEGINNERS SCREEN-PRINTING:

Learn the basics of the artform, the history and mechanics behind hands-on DIY printing. 

• 2 hours long with all materials provided. 1 colour layer - £30
  
• 3 hours long with all materials provided. 2 colour layers.- £55
  

You will go home with 5 printed posters or one t-shirt. Feel free to bring up to 5 extra garments or additional fabric if you wish to print more!

2. ADVANCED SCREEN-PRINTING:

During this session, you will learn about the properties and use of different inks, and go through the preparation of the design, colour separation, half-tone, vectorisation, registration and gradients. 

4 hours duration. £70

All materials provided.

3. TAILORED SESSION: £100 (6 hours basis)

Get tailored help and supervision in order to be able to print your own project in large quantities, with or without experience with a trained facilitator. You will learn step-by-step the process and are guaranteed to leave with a quality result able to be presented professionally. All materials are provided but the substate (paper /fabric). You will have to bring your own paper or fabric. You can buy extra t-shirts and paper from us if needed. 

For this session, you would be looking at printing 'large quantities' (more than 10) of posters or t-shirts (fabric). Know that, after this tailored session, we will charge £10 per hour for studio hire if you require more time. When hiring extra studio time you will need to provide your own screens, inks, and substrates (paper/fabric).
